For every spring,
Summer and fall
Academic freedom
But not for all
Our eyes are always
Fixed on the ball
To keep money flowing
As sponsors call

Avoiding controversy
Is a prudent policy
Get the professors who invoke
Envy or jealousy
Suspend or fire but
Do it with subtlety
Freedom of speech
Is the first casualty

Promoting diversity
Is a nice slogan
N’ teaching multi-cultures
To every man n’ woman
But keeping football
For every advertiser n’ fan
Is our first priority
As much as we can

For every professor n’ class
That don’t match
The official line, we must
Mark and catch
All those rebels n’ liberals
In singles or batch
Then include them in the list
