–    They’re in the Judge’s chamber
Standing on the floor

–    Waiting outside in frustration
In the corridor

(Judge and prosecutors enter the courtroom)

D(efense):    What are the charges?
J(udge):    I can’t tell you
D:    Who are the accusers?
J:        I can’t tell you.
D:    Are there any witnesses?
J:        I can’t tell you.
D:    Where are the documents?
J:        I can’t tell you.
D:    What’s the evidence?
J:        It’s secret.
D:    But this is America, it doesn’t fit.

(Someone whispering)—And if it doesn’t fit, you must acquit. Or is it quit!

D:    Your honor, based on the testimony
And evidence presented,
We proved that the defendant,
Is a role model in the community

J:     Yes, but based on the secret evidence,
I find him a threat to national security
