A wicked man once tempted
A selfish boy
With his wealth
To attain some pleasure
He said get me
Your mother’s heart, boy
And I’ll give you
Gold, pearls, and treasure
So he went and pierced
A dagger in her chest
Cut the heart out and
Ran back, full of lust
But because he was
In a hurry, he fell down
So the heart tumbled
Covered with mud and dust
The mother’s heart then whispered
As it laid in the dirt
My beloved son, my dear
Have you been hurt?
