Dear friends,

Dr. Sami Al-Arian remains in jail in Warsaw, Virginia, where he is
being held in contempt. Judge Gerald Lee is able to lift the
contempt at any time, which would allow Dr. Al-Arian to complete his
sentence and rejoin his family.

In October, a judge will reconsider lifting the contempt order.
Please write to Judge Lee and ask him to lift his order of contempt
and hasten Sami’s release. His family needs him.
