Dr. Al-Arian to Appear on Democracy Now

On Wednesday, Feb. 7, the nationally-syndicated radio and television
program Democracy Now! will feature a lengthy interview with Dr. Sami
Al-Arian regarding his on-going hunger strike. Dr. Al-Arian’s eldest
daughter, Laila, and Peter Erlinder, his attorney and the former
president of the National Lawyers Guild will also appear as guests.

Wednesday also marks the 17th day of Dr. Al-Arian’s hunger strike.
During this time, he has lost more than 20 pounds. Over 75 people
have pledged to fast in solidarity with Dr. Al-Arian.

We encourage Dr. Al-Arian’s friends and supporters throughout the
country and around the world to join the rolling hunger strike. Those
