Two year anniversary of Dr. Sami Al-Arian’s unjust arrest
The following events in Tampa, Florida will commemorate the two year anniversary of Dr. Sami Al-Arian’s unjust arrest. He has spent two years in prison, under inhumane condition, before he has even been tried.
Members of the community who are opposed to the mistreatment of Dr. Al-Arian and wish to draw attention to this injustice will hold a Candle-Light Vigil this Sunday, February 20, 2005 at 7:00pm at Orient Road Jail, 1201 Orient Road in east Tampa.
On Monday, February, 21, 2005, at 7:00 pm, there will be a lecture entitled, “Civil Rights in a Second Bush Term: Two Years Since The Political Arrest of Dr. Sami Al-Arian.”
